About Me

I am deeply immersed in music and culture, in my lifestyle and writing. I believe that there has never been such a vital time for these industries to flourish, in a world where journalism is currently threatened, protest through art forms has never been more important.

I am part of the Rising Sun Collective and predominately focus my time on discovering and providing a platform to give underground, underrepresented artists a voice.

News reporter, editor and sub, Eastlondonlines, London

 October 2017 - November 2017

I worked on the local news site, mainly writing stories, ranging from breaking news, short length pieces and feature length. For a short-time I was editor and sub-editor of the site, making sure a consistent number of pieces were posted but also keeping control of a team of 15 news reporters.

2015 / JULY 2018

Goldsmiths, University of London

Over the last three years, I have been taught a number of valuable skills which are equally valuable to real-life journalism.

I can use HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding, which has already come in handy when I was an editor at EastLondonLines - a number of pieces needed interactive graphs embedding in the code. Moreover, on my personal blog, I am easily able to edit Wordpress through the code to solve any issues.

I have been trained in using industry standard camera equipment, for news reporting and photojournalism.

I can confidently write any style of writing and equally confident in interviewing members of the public but also celebrities, council members, mayors etc.
